About Masakheni Development Fund CC:

Social Housing, by definition, is subsidised rental accommodation, which is driven by the Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA), Social Housing Institutions (SHI’s), Other Delivery Agents (ODA) and Provincial Human Settlement Departments in conjunction with Local Municipalities. Masakheni Development Fund facilitates funding for Social Housing projects and is pursuing SHRA accreditation as a Social Housing Institute. SHI’s and ODA’s may under the Social Housing Rental Agency’s qualify for Consolidated Capital Grants (CCG) to undertake and complete social housing projects. Social Housing projects are aimed at providing subsidised rental housing to accommodate the low-to-middle income rental market sector.

Masakheni Development Fund CC, is a development Finance Institution that aims to reduce/remove the bottlenecks in the Affordable housing and other Commercial Housing Projects. We do this by Partnering with Stakeholders in the Public and Private Sectors with the ultimate goal of accelerating growth in the Housing Sector
